Farm House Visit in Bhutan.
The farmhouse visit brings an opportunity to learn and experience the true culture, the living style of Bhutanese people in a Bhutanese way, why & how the Bhutanese people are ‘happy’. We usually visit the farm house towards the late afternoon. The following are some of the activities that we can experience during our visit to farm house.
• There will be a welcome drink at the farm house – Bhutanese butter tea and Ara – local alcohol.
• Walk around the Farm House for photographs and to learn the surroundings.
• See and take the photographs of the preparation of dinner. The clients can also take part or help the cooking.
• See and take the photographs of the preparation of Dhotsho (hot stone bath).
• We will take the Dhotsho (hot stone bath)
• After the Dhotsho, we will have a again ‘Ara’ (local alcohol) making hot with eggs.
• The dinner.
• If our clients like alcohol, we will serve alcohol after dinner also till we go to bed.
• We can take photographs of the morning scene in the farm house.
• We can see the milking of the cows-if the farm house has the milking cows. The guest can try also.
• If we are lucky, we can also see how the butter and cheese are made in the farm house in Bhutanese way.
• Breakfast at Farm House
• Take photography with the whole family.
• Depart from the farm house.

Druk Wangyel Chhorten (Stupas) at Dochulas.

Bird watching in Bhutan
Bhutan, a small kingdom hidden in the Himalayas has its total land cover 38394square kilometer. Bhutan’s forest cover is close is close to 72%.
